Dr. Mohanty’s Manual Therapy and Pain Clinics are state of the art clinic with highly skilled manual therapists trained under internationally acclaimed Manipulative Therapist Prof. (Dr.) Umasankar Mohanty. About Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is a clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific hands- on techniques, used by the physical therapist to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures for the purpose of modulating pain, increasing range of motion (ROM); reducing or eliminating soft tissue inflammation; including relaxation; improving contractile and non- contractile tissue repair, extensibility, and/or stability; facilitating movements and improving function. Manual Therapist will be able to determine the source of neck pain and adjust it specifically. If the bones are displaced from the normal position it irritates the joints (usually happens sleeping in wrong positions, bad posture in travel, using computers in wrong postures and during sports). The specific displacement is found by the Manual Therapist and the treatment is applied to relocate the bone specifically.
