Introduction: 2Hrs
Clinical Taping – Basic Principles, Benefits of using tape, General Biomechanical Principles, Indications and Contra-indications of Taping, Equipment/material used, Types of underwrap, adhesive spray, powder and uses.Types of tape and uses,Types of gauze, felt, friction pads and uses, Types of removal agents, tape cutting scissors.
Basic Taping Skills: 4Hrs
Preparation of Area, Principles of Applying Tape, Cutting/Ripping Tape, General Techniques for applying tape and demonstration of Anchors, Stirrups, Locks, Figure 8 and Basketweave. Closing O, Box Taping to offload muscle, Checking circulation and sensation Safe Taping Removal Techniques.
Lower Extremity Taping: 12Hrs
Taping Techniques for the Ankle, Arch Support,Acute Inversion Ankle Sprain, Acute Eversion Ankle Sprain, Taping Techniques for the Lower Leg, Gastocnemius tear and contusion,Shin Splints, Peroneus longus tendonitis,Tibialis posterior tendonitis, Anterior Compartment Syndrome,Taping Techniques for the Knee,Preventative Taping for Knee Dislocation,Medial Collateral Ligament Sprain, Lateral Collateral Ligament Strain, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Strain, Patellofemoral Pain, Patella Tendonitis, Taping Techniques for the Thigh.
Vertebral Column Taping: 4Hrs
Preventative Taping for Trunk, Overactive Erector Spinae, Rib bruising, Levator Scapulae, Trapezius and Sternocleidomastoid taping.
Upper Extremity Taping:10hrs
Preventative Taping for Shoulder Instability, Gleno-humeral Dislocation, Deltoid Strain, Acromioclavicular joint support, Taping Techniques for the Upper Arm, Bicep tendonitis,Upper Neural Tissue Irritation, Preventative Taping Elbow Hyperextension, Elbow Instability,Lateral Epicondylitis, Medial Epicondylitis.

(The fee includes study materials, Certificate, Transcript, and one Video CD containing important techniques).
Participants from Mangalore are advised to come to venue between 5.00p.m.-8.00p.m. on working days and get details about registration.
